I think for the Sakura gathering I will have a closet cosplay going on for Seychelles from Hetalia. N maybe bring my GIGANTIC LOBSTER too! haha

Look how huge that lobster is!! Isn’t he cute? I affectionately named him Large Lobster.

Move over world! Come the 18th of February, Anela is going to learn Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, and Shurikenjutsu! Actually I want to learn because I want to get my good sense of balance back and be able to kick over my head again. That and who doesn’t want to learn how to use a katana and throw shit? Come on. I really hope this all works out.

I was actually pretty torn between using the English flag or UK. I decided to take the correct timeline route and went for the English flag. I kinda like it this way, actually. This also meant I had to change Germany’s flag to the Nazi flag, which I did, and boy it looks 10x cooler. I’m currently fixing the flourishes up a bit, but man. Who would’ve thought the Nazi flag would be so cool? haha
Three more Allies to go! Then it’s animation time!

Canon has been breeding monstrous machines.
This was done by Phillip Bloom using the Canon 5D Mark II and the 7D. Each breathtaking shot is followed by another breathtaking shot. But I digress. This is beautiful work, don’t get me wrong. But I see DSLRs being good for short, independent films and some pre-production work for feature films. I dare a feature film to use DSLRs. I will bow down.

Dirk Rauscher is a video artist extraordinaire based in Cologne. I just found out (5 minutes ago) that he was the same guy who did the post work for Gewinner, which is one of my favorite music videos ever. Kudos to Dirk, he now has another fan in the US.

I love this song. I love this video. It’s very hard not to. It’s very simple, but the cinematography is visually stunning. The whole thing takes place underwater with typography integrated. My favorite part of the whole thing is the concept of being underwater with nothing around you. It gave a sense of nothingness but with no boundaries— a great place to lose yourself in, which is what the song is about.
